We have created GreenMorpho.org for one purpose only: to share with the world the beauty, wisdom, and friendship of the Amazon Rain Forest’s Medicinal Trees. This site is not for profit.
If you’ve never been to the Amazonian rain forest, then I hope that you’ll find in these pages a small indication of its mesmerizing beauty. I hope that you will connect to the majestic trees and that, just by looking at them, you’ll know that they are worth protecting.
If you have visited the rainforest before — whether once or many times — then I sincerely hope that GreenMorpho.org will assist you in replenishing and strengthening your connection to the Medicinal Trees and their spirits.
Are you with Blue Morpho Tours?
No. This site is an independent project, and there is no formal connection to the company Blue Morpho, which provides Shamanic Ayahuasca & Sacred Plant Retreats.
That being said, members of the Blue Morpho team have helped me out by contributing some of the photographs and articles, and by sharing their knowledge of the trees. I am deeply grateful to Blue Morpho and full of respect for the work they do. (If this is the first time you hear of BM and you end up booking a tour with them, make sure to let them know that you arrived via GreenMorpho.org!)

As of November 2017 we are showcasing just eight of the many medicinal trees known to Amazonian shamans. Our goal is to add more trees in the future. The main bottleneck is getting hold of original high definition photography.
So, if you’ve taken high quality photographs of other Medicinal Trees that are not represented here, and if you are willing to share them with us under the Creative Commons license, then please get in touch!
Thank you for visiting. Enjoy!
In love and medicine,
